Ounuwhao House

Ounuwhao Bay of Islands B&B is a one hundred-year old, heart kauri homestead that was shifted to Matauwhi Bay, Russell in April 1990. It has been faithfully restored to give an experience of history. Ounuwhao House Bed & Breakfast is located alongside a grassed reserve bordered by century-old Norfolk pines, opposite picturesque Matauwhi Bay - a favourite mooring-place for yachts. Ounuwhao is a short two-minute drive or a casual 10-minute stroll to Russell village.
