The four floor hotel has been in operation for over a century; however it retains its charm by tastefully combining it modern exterior with local architectural flair. Inside, the minimalist style lobby and communal lounge provide an inviting array of leather sofas and armchairs.

The exquisitely decorated on-site health club boasts a two lane 25m pool, splash pool, aqua jogging ring, water jet massage area and sauna/steam room and outdoor hot tub. Additionally there is an 111sqm gym with 40 pieces of equipment and an adjoining aerobics studio staffed by professionals.

Standard rooms are spacious offering ocean and/or countryside views. Facilities include a 32inch plasma TV and free wi-fi. Bathrooms come with a shower, bath and anti-condensation mirror. Restaurant and bar

Styled with a hint of regency vintage, the hotel's seafood speciality restaurant holds an AA Rosette for culinary excellence award and serves only locally sourced produce. Next to the hotel reside the Lighthouse Bar and Restaurant and The Cave, a local un-modernised pub with an open fire, slate floors and plenty of local history stories to digest.
