Known as a miniature continent- Gran Canaria plays host to many different types of beaches. The island lies North West of the African coast and enjoys a wonderfully warm climate all year long. The busiest and best resorts are all clustered around the south coast. Four Miles of sand dunes and beaches line the Maspalomas/playa Del Ingles shoreline. There are also beaches in Puerto Rico where you can soak up sun in the islands hottest resort. With plenty of water sports across the island there are also coves to offer peace and tranquillity.

Maspalomas and playa Del Ingles offer fantastic shopping but for the biggest array of department store shops a visit to Las Palmas is a must. Nightlife on the island is vibrant and sophisticated with a large selection of restaurants, bars and discos to suit the tastes of even the best travelled.
