Rooms
The rooms at this magnificent hotel are steeped in history, but nonetheless fully renovated. It is a great achievement on the part of the designers and builders of this fabulous boutique hotel that they have managed to blend the practicality of smart modern facilties into this wonderful historic building so seamlessly. The age of the building means that the rooms do vary in size, but even the smallest is medium-sized. It goes without saying that both the rooms and the wonderfully adventurous bathrooms, which feature the clever use of exotic-looking granites from all over the world, are in exceptional condition.
Restaurant
The hotel's breakfast room and restaurant is located in what was once the back yard of this historic building. Now the area is covered by a glass roof creating a magical wintergarden where one feels neither in- nor outdoors. It makes for a wonderful atmosphere.
Exterior
This is a beautiful historic building, carefully restored and selectively updated to create the ultimate balance between old world charm and modern comfort.
Lobby
The lobby is small and cosy. The perfect welcome to this delightfully homely property.
