Location

The traditional and elegant hotel Vello D'Oro is situated in the centre of Taormina, next to the Belvedere, Piazzetta SantAgostino, restaurants and shops. The Funivia is easily accessible by foot and takes you to the beautiful beach at Mazzaro, one of Sicilys most famous beaches.

53 comfortable rooms, all have private bathrooms with bathtubs or showers and with hairdryer. Each room has a safe deposit box (extra charge), satellite television and telephone with direct dial. All rooms have Air Conditioning (between 1/7-31/8). The Vello D'Oro offers a variation of rooms; some of the rooms overlook the panoramic terrace and some with direct sea frontal view whilst others have a lateral view. The popular restaurant is serving traditional Italian cuisine: Buffet Breakfast. Dinner with various menuss and table service. During the summer months, guests can enjoy the terrace overlooking Etna and the Bay of Naxos. Here can you also find deckchairs, umbrellas and a small bar that is open in the evening.
