Playa Blanca is situated on the southern tip of the Island and now has become the third largest resort on the Island. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 35 minutes
Playa Blanca is a picturesque seaside resort with a laid back feel at what ever time of the day you visit. It still retains the atmosphere of a small fishing village.
The 9 kilometre promenade is bordered by a selection of bars and restaurants including the trendy Rubicon Marina and the quaint harbour area.
Among the beaches those of Dorada and Flamingo stand out for their white sand, however without doubt the beaches of Papagayo are the best on the Island.
