Astoria

This is a wonderfully welcoming little hotel, superbly located and well maintained. The owner and staff do their utmost to make the clients' stay as pleasant as possible.

The hotel is located on a quiet street at the top end of Zermatt. It is about 10 mins walk from the station.

Rooms

The rooms vary in size from small to medium. They are all decorated in the same simple, rustic style with solid wooden furniture and beige colour scheme. Many rooms have balconies. Bathrooms are in very good condition.

Restaurant

The restaurant is located off the lobby on the ground floor and is decorated in dark colours with polished wood furniture.

Exterior

The building is typical of the region, in Swiss chalet style with a dark wooden facade and many colourful flower boxes.

Lobby

The lobby is small, but adjoins the hotel bar where guests can relax before checking in. The dark colour scheme and solid old furniture give a lovely cosy first impression.
