The hotel is located in a pedestrian street of the Old Town of Barcelona. The Liceu Theatre is 300 m from the hotel. The hotel opened in 1850, which makes it one of the oldest hotels in Barcelona. It was refurbished in 2000, keeping the original façade while completely rebuilding the interior, and now offers a total of 53 rooms, as well as a bar, lift access to the rooms and wireless Internet access throughout the building.
