The hotel Castro Hotel, especially popular with honeymooners, is located around 8 km from Heraklion (Gazi around 2 km, Rogdia around 6 km). A sandy beach is around 300 m from the hotel. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee available. The tourist centre is about 500 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 3 km from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 15 m. It is 300 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 300 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 500 m away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Heraklion Venetian Harbour, Koules, Heraklion Archaeological Museum, The Palace of Knossos and El Greco Museum. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 1 km away), a bus stop (approx. 5 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental.
