General description:

Approx. 30 m from a sandy beach is situated the hotel Astir Beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee available. The tourist centre is about 700 m away. The town Gouves is around 700 m away (Chersonissos around 10 km, Heraklion around 18 km). A supermarket and other shopping facilities can be reached after 700 m. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 700 m. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Aquarium (approx. 2 km away), Knossos Palace (approx. 20 km away), Agios Nikolaos (approx. 60 km away), Lassithi Plateau (approx. 45 km away) and Rethymno (approx. 85 km away). For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 100 m away) and a bus stop (approx. 700 m away). For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 18 km away.

Recently renovated in 2018, the 3-storey beach hotel consists of a main building and an adjoining building, and has 180 rooms in total. It is equipped with a reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, 2 lifts, a safe (for a fee), a mini market, a parking area (for free) as well as a money changing facility. For the meals, there is a restaurant (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total 3 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the hotel has a barrier-free access and a wheelchair accessible lift. Room cleaning is free of charge. Laundry / ironing service is available for a fee.
