General description:

The hotel Mediterraneo is located approx. 400 m from the Hersonissos, a sandy beach. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee. The town Heraklion is around 25 km away (Mallia around 8 km, Stalis around 4 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 1 km from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 500 m. It is 1 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 1 km away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Water Park (approx. 500 m away). For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 1,5 km away), a bus stop (approx. 100 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 30 km away.

Partially renovated in 2016, the 3-storey resort has 305 rooms, and spread over one main building and a total 14 adjoining buildings. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 12:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 3 lifts, air conditioning, a mini market, various other shops, a free parking area and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total 3 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free. For guests with physical disabilities the hotel has a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Laundry / ironing service and medical service are available for a fee.

Pool:

In the outdoor area of the mediterranean-style hotel you will find 2 salt water pools with a separate children´s pool (open from April to October).
