General description:

The hotel Whalabavaro (women only), especially popular with honeymooners, is around 20 km from Punta Cana Airport (Downtown around 3 km). The private sandy beach is around 50 m from the hotel. At the beach, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge. The tourist centre is only about 100 m away. You can find a food store and other shopping facilities approx. 100 m away. It is only 100 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. Also the nearest disco is around 100 m away. Further entertainment facilities such as a cinema are approx. 10 km away. For mobility during your holiday, there are a taxi rank (around 30 m away), a bus stop (approx. 200 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). Also to the next beach a shuttle service is available (charges may apply).

Recently renovated in 2018, the 4-storey beach hotel consists of a main building and 4 adjoining buildings, and has 263 rooms in total. It offers its guests a lobby, 2 lifts, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), kiosk, a mini market, various other shops, a sky bar (open from 10:00 - 23:00), discotheque, casino, theater, a free parking area , a security entry system and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are three restaurants. In a total 4 bars, you can relax in good company. WiFi is available for free. For guests with physical disabilities the accommodation provides a barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning and concierge service are free of charge. Laundry / ironing service and medical service are available for a fee. For the room service the hotel charges a fee (where applicable).

In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find 5 fresh water pools. Here, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for free available. At the pool bar you can get refreshing beverages (open from 10:00 - 23:00).
