The hotel is housed in a traditional Moroccan house which once belonged to an old noble family. It has a convenient location in the heart of ancient Medina in Marrakech. The property is an oasis of peace, yet only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the souks and the main square, Djemaa el Fna. Restaurants can be found around 5 minutes away, and nightlife options are located some 25-30 minutes from the hotel. Gueliz bus station is around 30 minutes away, and Oukaimeden train station is some 90 minutes away. The Palais Bahia, Saadian Tombs, Menara Garden and the Majorelle are all some 20 minutes' walk away. The area around Marrakech includes many natural attractions, including Lake Ifni and the Ourika River, some 50 minutes' drive away. Marrakech-Menara Airport is around 20 km away.
