Puerto del Carmen is located on the South east side of Lanzarote and is one of the most important tourist resorts on the Island. The Airport is a mere 10 minutes drive away.
The fully refurbished Avenida runs the length of Puerto del Carmen with an attractive promenade lined with bars, restaurant's and shops on one side and 6 kilometers of beach on the other.
The New Town is the destination in Lanzarote for a lively holiday, since its the place on the island with the highest concentration of bars, disco's and restaurants to choose from. In contrast the Old Town has quaint white washed streets and a active harbour a nice place to unwind under the sunset and watch the fishing boats come and go.
